With their wealth of knowledge and expertise, our staff is equipped to provide top-notch care and support to each and every one of our students. Fatima Abbes
Founder & Director of BYS
Fatima holds an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Care and Education, a postgraduate master’s in applied Behaviour Analysis and is a qualified behaviour specialist – BCBA. She has over 11 years’ experience working with children, and over 9 years’ experience using the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis; since 2014.
She has worked across a broad range of settings, including specialised preschools, units, and mainstream settings- as well as in home services. She has worked with children ranging from babies to 15-year olds. She is particularly interested in natural environment teaching, verbal behaviour, and parent coaching.
During her studies she completed two studies on using ABA interventions to increase communication development in children with autism and using general case instruction to teach a child with ASD to request for help.
Fatima's roles are many, including the behind the scenes work to keep the preschool running, and also personally designing the student's IEP's and BSP's.

Amina M. A
Manager
Amina holds a degree in Applied Psychology, with a focus on educational psychology and technology to assist learning for children and adults with special needs. Her academic background is complemented by several years of experience in the field and relevant training.
She has certificates and post grad training in Montessori, Early Childhood Education, Further Education Teaching, and Applied Behaviour Analysis. All of which provide her with a deep understanding of teaching methodologies and approaches that cater to diverse learning needs. With up to ten years of experience in early childhood education, Special Education, and behaviour management.
Amina is regularly onsite to supervise the class management. She is directly involved with the teacher/tutor training to ensure the education, and classroom management is kept to the high standards that By Your Side Early Intervention preschool prides itself on.

Amy Walsh
BCBA
Amy is our Behaviour Specialist-BCBA. Amy holds an undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology and a Masters degree in Apllied Behaviour Analysis. She went on to complete her hours and passed to board exam making her a qualified BCBA.
Amy has over 11 years experience working with children with addition needs such as Autism, ADHD and learning disabilities. She has worked in a variety of setting such as schools, homes, residential care and clinics.
Amy takes a neuroaffirmative, person centered approach. Amy has a keen interested in emotional regulation and in helping students begin their journey of not only understanding their emotions but giving them tools they can use throughout their lifetime to help regulate them.
Amy's roles include updating student programmes and IEPs, creating behaviour support plans when needed, staff/parent trainings and support.

Namrata Menon
Classroom Head Teacher
Namrata Menon, our Head Teacher for the morning class in Mulhuddart, brings a strong academic foundation with a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Special Education, and an MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis. With extensive experience in early childhood education, Namrata has a deep commitment to supporting children with ASD, and tailoring learning to each child’s unique needs. She ensures a warm, structured, multisensory and engaging environment, where every child feels supported and encouraged. Namrata’s dedication to early intervention and inclusive education is evident in her day-to-day work, making a positive impact on our students’ growth and development.

Sniya Sunny
Classroom Head Teacher
Sniya is the Head ABA Tutor at BYS Early Intervention Centre. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology, as well as an MPhil in Psychoanalytic Studies. She has professional experience as a Behavioural Therapist in a paediatric rehabilitation centre, where she delivered behavioural therapy and conducted assessments for children with special needs, and as a Clinical Psychologist in a de-addiction centre in India.
With over three years of experience as an ABA Tutor, Sniya has also worked as an Autism Practitioner supporting adults on the autism spectrum, enabling her to develop a holistic understanding of autism across different stages of life.

Tutors
Our class tutors, Lowri, Jolie, Rozerin, Sophie, Krishna, Natasha, Rianna, Yussra, Divya, Menar and Snow are a mix of full-time and part-time staff members who hold undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in psychology, neuropsychology, behaviour analysis and education. All our tutors have been directly trained by our teacher trainers, and receive ongoing support and coaching from senior staff to provide exemplary education and care to our students.
They are all dedicated to ensuring our students receive the best care, education and support. Furthermore, they are passionate about helping our students not only reach their full potential, but to thrive in their lives.
